Goldman Sachs Provides Color on Insurance

Goldman Sachs provided color on the insurance sector. In a research report published today, Goldman selected its top picks from the sector. These are: Prudential Financial (NYSE: PRU), LPL Investment (NASDAQ: LPLA) and Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP), all Buy rated.

On Wednesday, Prudential added 1.71% to its value to end the day at $63.06. Its shares continued to climb higher in today's pre-market trading, rising 0.06% to $63.10. Ameriprise rose 1.91% on Wednesday to close the day at $57.19. At the same time, LPL Investment added 1.53% to its value to end the day at $34.47. Its shares moved slightly higher in today's pre-market trading, rising 0.05% to $34.49.
