Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Reports On S&P 500 Changes

KBW has reported that BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) will be added to the S&P 500 today, replacing Genzyme (NASDAQ: GENZ).

KBW writes, "The addition of BlackRock Inc. (BLK-$201.01, Outperform) to the S&P 500 Index (SPX) in replacement of Genzyme (GENZ-$76.16, Not Rated) will occur after the close TODAY, 4/1. S&P previously announced this change after the close on Tuesday, 3/29."

BLK closed at $201.01 yesterday.
