Dahlman Rose Out With An Update On Airline Sector (AAWW, ALK, DAL)
Dahlman Rose & Co. is out with its industry report on the airline industry. Included in the report are names like Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAWW), Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT), Alaska Air Group, Inc. (NYSE: ALK) and others. It has a Buy on AAWW and ALK, and a Hold on ALGT. It has a $67 price target on AAWW and a $60 target on ALK.
In a note sent to clients, Dahlman writes, "We hosted a panel at our firm's recent Metals & Mining Conference, discussing the outlook for aircraft orders and delivery. The panelists were unanimous that the long term outlook for the OEMs is intact and the backlog of 6,900+ aircraft will be delivered. In the near term however, they believe we are in bubble environment, driven by double ordering of aircraft and cheap ECA financing."
