Goldman Sachs is reiterating its Neutral Thomson Reuters Corp.
TRI and $40 price target going into the company's earnings at the end of the month.
In a note to clients, Goldman Sachs says, "We expect Thomson Reuters' 3Q2010 results on 10/28 to pace in line with Street expectations as top line growth optically improves owing to steady, but not accelerating progress in end-market fundamentals and easier yoy comps at the Markets division. We see 3Q2010 EPS of $0.55 ($0.44 First Call), in line with consensus and expect 2010 revenue and operating income guidance to remain unchanged."
Shares of TRI gained 61 cents yesterday to close at $38.65, a gain of 1.6%.
