Intel Corporation
INTC is determined to expand its PC dominance into the mobile market. In a recent report from Piper Jaffray, Intel is unlikely to make any material progress in the mobile marketplace in CY11. Analysts believe Intel's Atom processor, Moorestown and its companion I/O chip will consume too much power.
Risks to achieve the target price include an IT spending slowdown, a mix shift to low-end CPU's, share loss in the microprocessor and flash memory markets and regulatory risks.
Piper Jaffray maintains its Overweight rating and $25 price target of Intel.
INTC closed Tuesday at $18.12
