MKM Partners Expects More On The M&A Front (HTZ, CAR, DTG, ARG, APD
MKM Partners is out with a research report, covering the recent activity in the mergers & acquisitions space.
In the report, it notes Airgas (NYSE: ARG) received a higher proposal from Air Products (NYSE: APD), valued at $66.50 per share, but that Airgas is still not willing to accept this offer.
MKM Partners also expects Hertz (NYSE: HTZ) to raise its bid for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), given the recent news from Avis (NYSE: CAR).
MKM Partners also discusses that Sanofi-Aventis (NYSE: SNY) may be willing to increase its offer for Genzyme (NASDAQ: GENZ), as press reports over the weekend indicated as such.
