Oppenheimer Likes AutoDesk’s iPad App (ADSK)

Oppenheimer is out with a brief research note this morning, where it applauds AutoDesk (NASDAQ: ADSK) for recently announcing that it plans to make available an iPad app soon.
The app would contain its new AutoCAD for Mac software should be available this fall. The new offering runs natively on Apple's Mac OS X and according to the company will greatly expand its user base.
"AutoCAD for Mac software provides customers with all the professional design and engineering tools users are accustomed to with AutoCAD. ADSK also announced a new app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod called AutoCAD WS, which will enable users to edit and share AutoCAD designs wirelessly," said the Oppenheimer analysts.
Pricing for the new solutions was not provided.
