Pritchard Capital Has Updated Notes On Haynesville (HK, XCO)
Pritchard Capital released its inaugural Haynesville Confidential, and in the report it discusses "current production and drilling activity, permitting, recent well results, acreage positions, play economics, recent events, and upcoming catalysts." Its two top picks in this space are Petrohawk Energy Corporation (NYSE: HK) and Exco Resources Inc. (NYSE: XCO).
In the note sent to clients, Pritchard writes, "Due to the high demand for fracing services, Comstock Resources, Inc. (CRK-$20.95) has been experiencing difficulty in scheduling crews to frac its Haynesville/Bossier wells. The inventory of uncompleted wells has risen from 11 to 17 and could grow to around 25 by year-end. Any positive news related on this front could be a driver. Crimson Exploration Inc.'s (CXPO-$2.26) first operated Haynesville/Bossier well, the Grizzly #1 (55% WI) in San Augustine County in East Texas IP’d at a restricted rate of 11.5 MMcfe/d."
Shares of HK closed at $14.76, and XCO closed at $13.85 yesterday.
