Moody's Puts Hungary On Review For Downgrade

Share

Moody's Investors Service placed Hungary’s credit rating on review for a possible downgrade after the Eastern European country's government couldn't reach agreements with international lenders.

The ratings agency put Hungary’s Baa1 local and foreign currency government bond ratings on review for possible downgrade.

Talks between Hungary, the European Union and the International Monetary Fund have faltered recently, leading Moody's to start the review.
