Piper Jaffray Reiterates Overweight Rating On ISIS Pharmaceuticals (ISIS)

Piper Jaffray released a company note on ISIS Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ISIS) this morning. The firm has an Overweight rating and a $13.00 price target on the stock. The analysts wrote that "we believe investors are either fully valuing mipomersen and assigning no value to the pipeline, or are discounting the whole story. ISIS retains a strong balance sheet with cash of $554 million and convertible debt of $163 million due in 2027."

During today's trading session, ISIS shares have gained 0.85% to $9.44. The company currently has a market cap of $935.39 million. Isis Pharmaceuticals, (ISIS) engages in the discovery and development of a new class of drugs called antisense drugs using antisense technology, a novel drug discovery platform to generate a broad pipeline of first-in-class drugs.
