Cincinnati Financial Corporation's
CINF 3Q10 results came in under Deutsche Bank's estimate of $0.40 and the Street consensus of $0.37.
“As with the two prior quarters of 2010, operating earnings fell short of the company's quarterly dividend (now $0.40),” Deutsche Bank writes. “Operating ROE was 5.4%. Net income was substantially higher ($0.96) due to an after-tax gain of over $80MM on the sale of the company's Verisk stake.”
