Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHTP) plummeted 66% to $2.35 on huge volume of 26.84 million shares after its neurological disorder drug didn't meet the primary endpoint of a late-stage study. The biopharmaceutical development company said that in the first of two Phase III studies, the drug, Droxidopa, did not demonstrate a statistically significant improvement relative to placebo, as measured by the mean score of dizziness or light-headedness of the Orthostatic Hypotension Symptom Assessment.

Interleukin Genetics, Inc (AMEX: ILI) after yesterday’s rally of over 270% today the stock corrected 21% to $1.38 on unusual volume of 1.20 million shares

Hercules Offshore, Inc. (NASDAQ: HERO)plunged 13% to $5.47 on huge volume of 3.91 million shares after The operator of drilling rigs and liftboats forecast third-quarter sales that missed analysts’ estimates and said it plans to offer as many as 17.5 million shares to repay debt.
