Nutrinova Business Joins Celanese Brand - Analyst Blog

Chemical company Celanese Corporation's CE Nutrinova business has joined its single, unified new brand – Celanese – The chemistry inside innovation”. This transition falls under Celanese's process of transitioning each of its businesses under the Celanese brand, which started back in Oct 2013.

To date, five out of six of Celanese's businesses have successfully undergone a complete transition. The transition of the Nutrinova business completes the company's transition of all its businesses into one unified brand.

Celanese's shares gained 3% during the trading session following the release of the news.

Celanese's Nutrinova business is a premier producer of potassium sorbates and sorbic acid and the inventor of acesulfame potassium. Nutrinova has been in the business for over five decades as an innovative solution provider for all sweetening and preservation requirements.

Considering the sensitivity to the complexities of the food and beverage industries, Celanese has taken time to smoothly undergo the transition process so that its customers embrace its new brand.
