The BBC is on the brink of news black-out as NUJ members are on the verge of striking.

Journalists are poised to begin their 24 hour walkout at midnight, with NUJ General Secretary Michelle Stanistreet joining the picket line at BBC Television Centre, London W12. NUJ members at BBC national, regional and local centres across the UK will be on strike until midnight tomorrow night.
