Skype announced yesterday that it has released an update for its app on the Android Market (Market link), adding support for one-to-one video chatting on select Android devices. The feature works over 3G or Wi-Fi and is compatible with the following devices: HTC Desire S, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo, Sony Ericsson Xperia pro and the Google Nexus S. The phone must be running Android OS 3.2 or better and have a front-facing camera.
Other new features added in this update are easier contact navigation and a “mood message box” at the top of the app that allows you to set your status easier.
Exciting?
