U.S. Stocks' Rally Doesn't Let Up

The stock market held on to sharp gains in early afternoon trading. The Nasdaq surged 1.8%, the NYSE composite 1.3% and the S&P 500 1.1%. Volume was tracking higher -- a fairly easy goal given yesterday's light trading. Winners led losing stocks by 5-1 on the NYSE and by 7-2 on the Nasdaq.
