Android 3.0 SDK released to all developers

Google announced via their Android Developers blog today that they've released the final version of the Android 3.0 (a.k.a. “Honeycomb”) Software Development Kit (SDK) to all developers. Google notes that the API's found inside the SDK are final and the new API level is 11.

Google also states that developers can begin building applications designed for Android 3.0 and publish them to the Android Market.

The first tablet that will be taking advantage of Android 3.0 is the Motorola Xoom, coming February 24th.
