The Mobile World Congress is beginning next week in Barcelona, and Opera revealed today that a version of its Opera Mini Web browser for the iPad will be unveiled. Opera currently has a version of its Web browser out for the iPhone and iPod touch (released last April), but nothing for the iPad has been discussed until now.
The Opera Mini Web browser for the iPhone and iPod touch sports one major feature: the ability to render webpage content on Opera's servers, and then send that information to the device. This allows for much faster page loading times and it saves bandwidth. The video below is a teaser from Opera that shows the Web browser running on Samsung's Galaxy Tab, but you can expect something similar for the iPad.
